*We are considered private pay and out-of-network providers with insurance, we accept HSA, FSA, and those claiming on their out-of-network benefits. We provide superbills you can submit to insurance for out-of-network reimbursement your insurance may offer. This can be done for marriage, couples. or family counseling as well.

Why private pay? When you use insurance, your records and progress notes can be audited, which decreases the privacy you should be entitled to. Insurance can also decide the amount of the sessions you’re given, private pay puts you in control of your mental health. This also reduces the amount of unpaid hours our therapists would have to put in for billing insurance.

We typically see insurance reimburse 40% - 80% of sessions, with some insurances fully covering sessions. Some questions to ask your insurance company:

-What are my mental health/behavioral health benefits?

-How much will my insurance cover for an out-of-network provider?

-Do I need a referral from my primary care physician?
